Your Medicaid Plan may have changed

Patients who previously had Medicaid coverage under MDwise may have been reassigned to another plan. MDwise is no longer a plan provider for the state of Indiana. Unless you selected a new plan during open enrollment, you have been reassigned.

It’s important to review your coverage now to make sure you can keep your HealthNet provider and continue your care without interruption.

Pharmacy Coverage

  • HealthNet Pharmacy Services are covered under MHS Indiana and CareSource plans.
  • HealthNet Pharmacy Services are also covered by Anthem, but some specialty medicines may not be covered.
  • If your plan changes or you choose a different plan, you may need to use a pharmacy in your new plan’s network.
  • Our team can help you understand your pharmacy options and avoid gaps in getting your prescriptions.

Changing your Managed Care Entity (MCE)

If you are a patient who formerly had a plan with MDwise and have been reassigned to a plan that you would like to change, you have until April 1 to make a change. Check your plan now to make sure your coverage and pharmacy access continue smoothly.
