HealthNet will temporarily close the Eye Care Center at Specialty Care at Barrington, 3403 East Raymond Street.

We are no longer able to order frames of lenses. Dr. Elrod’s last day seeing patients at the Eye Care Center will be September 18, and Dr. Coriell’s last day will be September 24. We do not have a reopen date yet.

Where can I go for eye care?

Your eye health is important. HealthNet wants to help you keep getting the care you need.

  • Call your insurance company. Ask for a list of eye doctors who accept your insurance.
  • Visit your insurance company’s website. It may have a list of eye doctors who accept your insurance.
  • If you have Medicaid, you can use the Indiana Health Coverage Programs Provider Locator to find an eye doctor.

Can I still get frames and glasses at the Eye Care Center?

Frames and glasses are no longer available for order at the Eye Care Center. If you have questions about your glasses or lenses, including warranties, you can call 1-800-506-4703 and ask for help in locating a provider.

If You Have an Eye Emergency

If you have an eye emergency after September 25, a HealthNet primary care provider may be able to help you. Please call 317-957-02070 to find out if this is a solution for you. If you have severe pain, swelling, bleeding, a sudden change in or loss of vision, or trouble breathing, please get help right away.
