Health Promotion program
What many don’t know is that last year, HealthNet’s Health Promotion program assisted more than 6,000 in our community with services like cervical cancer screenings, and nutrition and tobacco cessation counseling. With your help, we can do even more.
HealthNet School-Based Services helped more than 2,028 students receive health care and health education services at eight public and charter schools throughout Marion County last year. With your help, we can do even more to improve the health and safety of students at school and at home.
Healthy Families program
HealthNet’s Healthy Families program provided more than 12,543 visits to at-risk homes in Marion County. With your help, we can do even more.
Women's health services
HealthNet cares for nearly 20,000 women each year, many of whom live at or below the federal poverty level. With your help, HealthNet hopes to overcome the cultural, social, educational and financial barriers that prevent women from getting screened and receiving life-saving treatment.
With your help, HealthNet’s Social Services program can advocate on behalf of and assist families with basic needs. Because staying healthy encompasses so much more than a doctor’s visit.
Homeless Initiative Program
With your help, HealthNet’s Homeless Initiative Program (HIP) can make a difference for the staggering number of homeless in our community. As the largest and most comprehensive program for the homeless in the state, HIP delivered services to over 2,868 men, women, and children just last year.
