For more than 20 years, HealthNet’s Homeless Initiative Program (HIP) has helped homeless persons in Marion County reach a level of independence consistent with their goals and capabilities for health and well-being. Last year, 2,430 homeless persons benefited from HIP’s multi-disciplinary approach to coordinate and provide housing, health care, outreach, employment, and support services to the homeless in Marion County.
