HealthNet’s Committee on Healthy Aging will host two free painting classes for adults 55 and up in October:

Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, 10-11 a.m., at HealthNet Southwest Health & Dental Center, 1522 W. Morris St.

Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, 10-11 a.m., at HealthNet People’s Health & Dental Center, 2340 E. 10th St.
Come learn the basics of painting in a fun environment! Step-by-step lessons will help you create this beautiful landscape picture on a 9”x12” canvas. Supplies provided.

Meet Art Teacher Lindy Pruett: As far back as she can remember, Lindy Pruett has been making art. She studied art at the Herron School of Art and Design at IUPUI. She has more than 15 years of experience as a painter, including oils, acrylics and watercolor. As a retired public school teacher, she finds joy in sharing the fun of painting with others!
