HealthNet Hosts 5th Annual HealthNet Hustle 5K Run/Walk

HealthNet will host its 5th Annual HealthNet Hustle 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 17, 2022. The run/walk will start at 9 a.m. at HealthNet Barrington Health & Dental Center, 3401 E. Raymond St., and will take participants through several nearby southside neighborhoods.  A virtual race option is also available!

Each year, HealthNet’s Homeless Initiative Program (HIP) serves more than 1,500 individuals who are experiencing or immediately threatened with homelessness. Proceeds from the race allow HIP to support emergency needs like food and clothing for those who are on the street. They also help support clients in obtaining and maintaining employment and housing by ensuring access to transportation, work uniforms, utility bills, and security deposits. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, HIP has continued to help clients in need and most vulnerable to COVID-19 by providing food, hotel rooms, permanent housing, and much more. 

Online registration is available at www.healthnethustle.org  Individual registration is discounted to $30 per person until midnight on Aug. 21. After Aug. 21, individual registration will be $35/per person. Discounted family pricing is also available!
