You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect you, your family, and our staff.

Calling for an Appointment:

  • Appointments can be in person, by telephone or by video visit, when appropriate. Learn more about our video visit services!
  • In-person appointments will be staggered to allow for more social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
  • If you are experiencing cough, fever, or shortness of breath, and may have been exposed to or have concern for COVID-19, you can schedule a video visit with your provider. If you have these symptoms and need to be seen in-person, your appointment may be at one of our sick clinics:

Before Your Visit:

  • We will call you before your visit to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you arrive at the office.
  • If you have a video visit appointment, we will call to make sure you are set up for the visit on your phone or computer.

At Your In-Person Appointment:

  • If you have a mask, please wear it into your visit and keep it on at all times. If you do not have a mask, you will be offered one when you arrive. Children under 2 should not wear a mask.
  • When you arrive for your visit, please make sure you check-in at the screening tent in the parking lot before you enter the health center. If you have a visit at Northeast Health Center, Pediatric & Adolescent Care Center, or Care Center at the Tower, please check-in in the hallway outside of the health center.
  • Arrive for your visit 20 minutes early. As you arrive at your visit, a HealthNet team member will greet you at the tent and perform a short Coronavirus (COVID-19) screening for you and your family.
  • Limit the number of people you bring to your visit. Additional visitors will be asked to wait in their vehicles.
  • Social distancing is for everyone! By keeping people farther apart, in a variety of ways, it can help prevent the spread of COVID-19. You will see waiting area chairs spread farther apart and “X” marks on the floor showing you where to stand when waiting in line. After you check in, you may be asked to wait in your car until it is time for your appointment.

We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

  • Help prevent the spread of germs. We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.

We clean our waiting rooms, exam rooms and other common areas frequently throughout the day and in the evenings with a stronger disinfectant.
