HIP’s Case Managers help client’s with the process to become permanently housed.  Case Managers assist clients with accessing health services, entitlement programs, links to employment and advocacy both before and after they are permanently housed.  Case Managers often work side by side with the client in determining the best suitable place to live based on budget and wishes.  The Case Manager ensures that the client’s needs are met in a compassionate and caring man

Veteran's Assistance

The Employment & Training Team plays a special role by administering the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program, a special outreach supported by a grant from the Department of Labor.  In this federally-funded program, the E & T Staff takes special responsibility to assists homeless veterans to find stable employment and decent housing.

HIP’s Outreach Team goes out on the street to locate and engage those clients that are unable or unwilling to come in for services.  By offering compassionate, regular support and essential needs, this team builds trust in order to respond when a client wants or needs to do something different.  At HIP this begins with the clients walking in and talking with professional triage staff who assist them with immediate needs while supporting them as they connect with long term solutions.
