This service is free to pregnant women. When you sign up for the BIBS program, you will have help from your health team:

  • Nurse
  • Social worker
  • Nutritionist
  • Community health worker

Your health team makes it easier for you to get in touch with the people in your city who can help you. You will also learn more about services that are available to you. The team visits you in your home to provide answers to your questions (prenatal education) and support. Your health team can help you find the services you need to have a healthy baby, including:

  • Doctor and health center visits
  • Maternity clothes
  • Transportation
  • Medicaid (if eligible)
  • Emergency food, baby supplies, food stamps, WIC, food pantries
  • Preterm labor counseling
