HealthNet’s Dr. Robinson Ranked Among Indianapolis’ Top Doctors for Ninth Year
INDIANAPOLIS (November 8, 2010) – Judith Robinson, M.D., an obstetrician/gynecologist with HealthNet Martindale-Brightwood Health & Dental Center and HealthNet Care Center at the Tower and director of OB/GYN Services at Methodist Hospital, has been selected as one of Indianapolis Monthly Magazine’s “Top Docs” for the ninth year.
The magazine’s November issue profiled 194 physicians in 49 specialties, all recommended by their peers. They represent the top 5 percent of board-certified doctors in the Indianapolis area.
“It is very humbling to receive this honor again,” said Dr. Robinson. “My passion is to help women take an active role in their health. I deeply appreciate this recognition from my peers for doing what I enjoy most.”
“Dr. Robinson is dearly loved by all her patients. We are so pleased to have her as a part of our team,” said Booker Thomas, HealthNet president/CEO. “HealthNet is fortunate to have more than 450 dedicated, compassionate caregivers on staff. This honor gives the Indianapolis community a glimpse of the quality care that takes place every day in our health centers.”
Results for physicians ranked in the Indianapolis Monthly Magazine’s “Top Docs” were compiled by Castle Connolly Medical Limited, a New York-based company that rates physicians nationally.
The company used a physician-led team of researchers that followed a rigorous screening process to select top doctors on both the national and regional levels. Through mail and telephone surveys, in addition to electronic ballots, they asked physicians and medical leadership of leading hospitals to identify highly skilled, exceptional doctors. They also carefully screened doctors’ educational and professional experience and only considered doctors who are board-certified.
Dr. Robinson is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She joined HealthNet in 2006 after nearly 20 years in private practice. She received her medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago and completed her OB/GYN residency at Methodist Hospital. She specializes in OB/GYN care and surgery.
Dr. Robinson is currently accepting new patients. To make an appointment, call (317) 920-5760.
